Netflix buffering in bedroom? Why WiFi won't go through walls

Reading time: 3 min

Family watching TV or working
Remote Work and Streaming require perfect coverage.

You pay a lot for Fiber, but as soon as you go to the bedroom or office, connection drops. Netflix buffers, Zoom cuts out.

It's not your ISP's fault, it's physics. 5GHz WiFi waves (the fastest ones) are blocked by concrete and water (underfloor heating, fish tanks).

Extender vs Powerline: Don't waste money

Many buy a cheap "booster". If you place it where signal is already bad, it amplifies dead air. Result: 5 WiFi bars, but internet is slow.

The real solution: Powerline (CPL) or Mesh WiFi. These technologies bypass physical walls.

The Universal Fix (WiFi Extender)
"This smart TP-Link extender is affordable and compatible with any router (AT&T, Verizon...). It boosts signal without speed loss."

How to split frequencies?

Your router often mixes 2.4GHz (slow but long range) and 5GHz (fast but short range) networks. If your phone sticks to the wrong network, it lags.

Our full guide (available after the test) explains how to force your devices onto the right frequency.
